Independent studio Vivix has revealed Artificial Detective, a new third‑person action‑adventure in which players assume the role of a robot detective. The announcement was made during an Xbox Partner Preview presentation, where the studio introduced the project and outlined its basic premise and release plans.
In Artificial Detective players will control an investigative android tasked with uncovering the fate of humanity. The setting is a city populated almost entirely by machines; the plot centers on the robot sleuth's efforts to piece together why people have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
Throughout the journey the protagonist is accompanied by a robotic dog and a young woman, who both assist in exploration and in solving the broader mystery. The developers describe the experience as a mix of investigative gameplay and action elements, driven by narrative and character interaction.
Vivix highlights that the development team includes industry veterans who previously worked on high‑profile titles such as Control, Dead Space and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The studio positions Artificial Detective as a narrative‑forward project that draws on that collective experience to deliver a cinematic, story‑led adventure.
The game is scheduled for release in 2027 on Xbox Series X/S and PC. The studio has confirmed that a text localization into Russian will be available. Further details about gameplay mechanics, platform features and exact release timing have not yet been disclosed.
