Portuguese organization SAW confirms sale of its CS:GO roster as players are linked to 100 Thieves, BC.Game and FlyQuest

Portuguese organisation SAW has announced the sale of its Counter‑Strike roster, confirming that the active five have been placed on the transfer market. The move follows a series of transfer rumours that surfaced in recent days linking members of the squad to several high‑profile projects abroad.

Reports have connected SAW players with three organisations in particular: 100 Thieves, BC.Game and FlyQuest. Those rumours intensified after a domestic media outlet reported that one of SAW’s star players was in advanced talks to join FlyQuest, while other names from the Portuguese side were being targeted by teams building new lineups.

According to that local report, AWPer João 'story' Vieira was being considered by FlyQuest to replace Romanian sniper Iulian 'regali' Harjău. The same coverage also suggested that André 'Ag1l' Gil had been identified as a target for a 100 Thieves project led on the player front by Håvard 'rain' Nygaard and coached by Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander.

Independent sources speaking to HLTV added further detail, stating that three remaining members of SAW’s starting five — Christopher 'MUTiRiS' Fernandes, Adones 'krazy' Nobre and António 'aragornN' Barbosa — had attracted interest from BC.Game. Those sources indicated BC.Game were actively pursuing the Portuguese trio as part of their roster plans.

If BC.Game were to secure SAW’s core, the move would pair the Portuguese players with established stars already linked to BC.Game, notably Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev and Denis 'electroNic' Sharipov. Such an acquisition would also carry competitive implications: SAW’s current standing in the world rankings would provide BC.Game with a boost in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), improving the organisation’s placement in qualification metrics.

For clarity, SAW’s most recent starting lineup consisted of Christopher 'MUTiRiS' Fernandes, João 'story' Vieira, André 'Ag1l' Gil, António 'aragornN' Barbosa and Adones 'krazy' Nobre. The organisation confirmed the sale of that group when announcing the changes to its Counter‑Strike operations.

Several contextual player details were also available: João 'story' Vieira is 23 years old and has accumulated extensive map experience over his career; André 'Ag1l' Gil is 22 and similarly established on the competitive scene. Christopher 'MUTiRiS' Fernandes is a veteran at 33, while Adones 'krazy' Nobre and António 'aragornN' Barbosa are both in their early twenties. On the receiving side, rumoured targets and linked players include Iulian 'regali' Harjău (23), Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev (28) and Denis 'electroNic' Sharipov (27), and organisational staff such as Håvard 'rain' Nygaard and coach Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander have been named in connection with the ongoing reshuffle.
