Esports organization Metizport has announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The club confirmed that Liam "MaiL09" Tugel has been removed from the main lineup; the announcement was posted on the organization’s official site and across its social media channels.
Replacing MaiL09 in the active roster is Nicolás "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora, who returns after a break from competition taken for personal reasons. Metizport representatives stated that the substitution was made in line with the team’s sporting objectives.
Metizport emphasized that MaiL09 remains an important member of the organization. The club said it is committed to creating the best possible conditions for the development of the 16-year-old rifler, while keeping open the possibility of arranging a loan or a permanent transfer to another team.
The organization framed the move as part of a broader effort to balance short-term competitive needs with long-term player development, signaling that further roster decisions could follow as they refine the team’s direction.
