As is common for speculative narratives, the game offers multiple conclusions; unlike some titles, however, Code Vein II requires you to obtain its endings in a specific sequence. Ending 3 — “Wondrous Bonds.” With both the first and second endings unlocked, the main menu presents a new option called “Save Lu.” Selecting this option begins a short chain of additional quests. Completing the full chain rewrites the course of the narrative and grants the most complete ending, “Wondrous Bonds.” You must finish all four specified quests in separate zones to obtain this finale.
The four side quests required for “Wondrous Bonds” and their locations are: Bridge to the Future — found on the island of Magmell; Immortal Oath — a quest in the Corrosive Scar; Life in Full Bloom — a mission in the Undead Forest; Dwelling of Memories — a task in the Sunken City. Note that finishing each of these quests also awards a corresponding achievement, so completion is tracked both in the game and in the achievement system.
A few practical reminders: the endings must be unlocked in the order described, and the Continue and Save Lu options become available only after the prerequisite steps are completed.
