Dota 2: Aghanim’s Shard payout bug discovered after patch 7.41
After patch 7.41, a bug involving Terrorblade’s reward causes inflated team gold when Aghanim’s Shard is picked up by Invoker — reported by Team Spirit analyst Denis “sikle” Lerman

A new bug has been found in Dota 2 related to the reward mechanic for Terrorblade following the release of patch 7.41. The issue was reported by Team Spirit analyst Denis “sikle” Lerman in his personal Telegram channel.

According to the report, if an Aghanim’s Shard from a killed Terrorblade ends up in the inventory of an Invoker, the game incorrectly registers the item as already owned by all allies. As a result, each hero on the team receives 415 gold instead of the standard reward. The total payout in this scenario reaches 3,475 gold, while under normal conditions the team would receive roughly 2,100 gold.

Patch 7.41 was rolled out during the night of March 25. The update removed aspects from the game, introduced new items, and reworked the innate abilities of most heroes. These broad changes appear to have coincided with the emergence of the described bug.

The report highlights how recent systemic changes can produce unintended interactions with existing mechanics. Players and analysts have flagged the discrepancy, and the community is watching for an official clarification or fix from the developers.
